Personal & Executive Coaching

  • Are you concerned about your market position and want to improve it?
  • Are you wondering how to retain your best people?
  • Do you want to know how you can get the best from yourself and your people so that they can go that extra mile?
  • Have you received some feedback on yourself that you don’t know how best to act on?
  • Do you want to improve your confidence and interpersonal skills as a manager?

If you have answer yes to any of the above, you have identified ‘leadership development’ as an area of key focus in your organisation.

Who are the main targeted participants in this programme?

  • Managers and business leaders who want to lead rather than manage
  • You may be in a new role, or you may have current issues that need resolving, or you may simply want to develop your leadership skills

PWC HR benchmarking 2003 Ireland identified ‘leadership development’ as the second most important issue and is also identified as an important business issue.

    What will the sessions cover?

  • Discussion of your issues and aims
  • Recognition of your own strengths and drivers with the help of different personality diagnosis tools (Belbin Team Role profile and personality questionnaires)
  • Development of a leadership style that is tailored to your values
  • Communication - including persuading and influencing others
  • Empowering yourself and your team
  • Coaching and mentoring techniques
  • Building confidence in your vision, ideas and approach
  • Creative problem solving groups

What are the individual benefits of this 3-6 months coaching programme?

  • Built respect and gained the trust of your team
  • Gain a better understanding of emotional management
  • Developed your own leadership style and be able to adapt depending on the situation
  • Coached or mentored some individuals in your team and seen some results
  • More confidence to champion your vision and ideas, and those of your team

The major focus on this type of behavioural coaching is targeted in helping the new leader to assimilate and achieve the business objectives by clarifying specific behaviours or habits or learn new, more effective ways to work and interact with others. This type of coaching often helps individuals who are otherwise very successful in their current jobs or are taking new responsibilities that require a change in specific behaviours.

What will the organisation gain from this programme?

  • Completion of this programme will shift a manager’s paradigm from a ‘manager as a boss’ attitude to a ‘Manager’s as inspiring leader’.
  • Managers will have the knowledge to utilise advanced communication skills and coaching versus outdated ‘command and control method’.
  • This programme is designed for managers to achieve greater results from their staff including fostering the rapid development of individuals and teams, leading to increased organisationl capabilities.
